Keystone Resort is open for the summer!

We had a great opening weekend at Keystone Resort. Smiles were had, friends made, and bikes broken in. The bike trails on the mountain we're in great shape and it felt good to get out and onto the hill for some lift accessed riding for the first time of the summer. Keystone will be open from 10 AM - 5 PM Sunday to Thursday and from 10 AM - 7 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Check out the summer lineup at Keystone, make your reservations and prepare for a great weekend in the mountains! One of our favorite events of the summer, and definitely our favorite one to start the summer off with, is coming right up: The Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival June 22nd and 23rd. Opening weekend is just one week away so we thought we would put together a list of some of the activities and events happening at Keystone this summer. Don't forget to check back often as there are alway s new events getting announced. We're going to be open every day starting next Friday, June 14th and we've got all of the bikes ready for you to test out. The two we're most excited about are the Yeti 303 World Cup Downhill and the Giant Glory 0 Downhill, both being bikes that have won World Cups and numerous other races. They are sure to step up your game so book your rental online for a smoking deal on these bikes.

Pre season trail prep!

The seasons coming right up and the guys up on the mountain are hard at work getting the trails at Keystone ready for opening weekend. Here's a shot of some trail work being done on the lower mountain. We're open on weekends right now for all of your biking needs so swing on by and go explore some of the trails in the valley before the mountain opens!

Summer started up here at Norski Sports this past weekend. We've been putting away the skis, getting out the bikes, putting some new bikes together that we're pretty excited about, and generally just got ready to kick off the best summer yet! We're going to have info about all of the summers events so stay tuned for the latest info from Keystone Resort & Bike Park.

We've got new bikes from Yeti Cycles including the 303 World Cup as our downhill demo and the SB66 and 575 as our new enduros.

We also picked up a few Giant bikes, namely the Glory 0 & 2.0.

We're listening to what you want and increasing our selection all the time. We also have protective gear from Kali Protectives and SixSixOne.

Anytime you've got suggestions, questions or just want to talk bikes (or skis) give us a shout! We love talking about new technology, how the parks riding, innovative features in any bike parks and action sports in general.

Keystone's Bike Park will be opening on the 14th of June but until then we're open on the weekends from 9-5. As of June 14th we'll be open 7 days a week for your riding pleasure and our hours will be 9-5 during the week and 9-7 on the weekends.

We had a nice little surprise this morning. Although the snow report only said 1 inch, there was about 5" by 9 a.m. Conditions are great this morning and will be throughout the weekend! Beautiful day in Keystone

Things are looking nice in Keystone. We've had sun, blizzards and bluebird days these past few days, sure is feeling like spring around here. Great conditions on the hill today, come on up and enjoy them!

We had a nice surprise in Keystone for St. Pattys Day. About three inches of snow fell throughout the day and it was a great day on the slopes. Conditions will be very nice today as well. If you looking for something to do off of the slopes, this coming Wednesday the 20th Keystone is hosting award winning illusionist Jason Bishop at the Warren Center. He'll have plenty of tricks to dazzle the crowd with! Tickets are available by calling Keystone Resort. See you soon!

This has been a great week at Keystone Ski Resort. We've had 11" of snow in the past week so conditions are some of the best we've had all season. I'll go so far as to say they are the best we've had! Why aren't you here?? Night skiing is going on 7 days a week through the end of the season, so you get 11 hours of skiing or snowboarding a day! That should be enough to tire out your legs! There's a scavenger hunt this weekend, sponsored by Keystone and GoPro, and there are three GoPro 3's hiding out on the mountain. Go find one! Enjoy the week!

Things are pretty perfect at Keystone Ski Resort right now. All of the terrain is open, we've had fresh snow in the last week meaning that the skiing is fantastic. The groomers are as close to perfect as they get and the weather's not to shabby either. Come on up and visit this week! We've got the best rates on ski rentals in Keystone but you have to rent them online to take advantage of the great deal. Come say hi and see what Keystone has to offer this week!
